NX Machinery Library Installation

Overview The Machinery Library in NX is a collection of pre-designed standard family-based parts that can be used in the design and assembly of machinery. It includes commonly used components such as nuts, bolts, washers, gears, bearings, shafts, and other mechanical components. The library provides designers with a quick and easy way to add standard components to their designs, without having to create them from scratch. Prerequisites • Download the latest Machinery Library install tool zip file. • Download the required Library zip files from the support center. • After downloading. Extract the Machinery library zip file to a specific folder. • Copy the library Zip files • Paste them in Libs folder • If needed. Edit the property file to configure the layer category [MachineryLibrary- utilities.def]. • For example: if you want to change the layer category for solids, you can modify the property file as below. Attribute: An attribute is a changeable property or characteristic of some component of a program that can be set to different values .
